U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he will soon meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss ending the war in Ukraine.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Trump did not specify a date or location for the meeting but asserted that both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky want the war to end.
Throughout his election campaign, Trump has repeatedly promised that he would quickly resolve the Ukraine war if elected president.
