U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a warning to Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating that any attempt to undermine peace efforts in Ukraine would carry serious consequences for Moscow.
Trump added that his scheduled meeting with Putin in Alaska on Friday may follow a separate discussion with Ukraine’s President.
The Alaska talks are expected to address a potential peace agreement, which could involve Ukraine making territorial concessions.
However, Ukraine’s President has emphasized that any deal compromising the country’s sovereignty or territorial integrity would be unacceptable.
