According to a report by Anadolu News Agency, a meeting took place in Ankara, Turkey, between Turkey’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Noe Yilmaz, and the United Kingdom’s Deputy Foreign Secretary, Hamish Falconer. The two officials discussed various important matters related to Syria, including security, economic development, international relations, and other critical areas.

Sources indicate that the key points of the discussion focused on Syria’s national reconciliation and the establishment of a central government, following international support and cooperation. The rebuilding of Syria’s economy with the assistance of the United Nations and its stabilization were also major topics. Additionally, the discussions addressed efforts to prevent the future activities of armed groups and terrorist organizations within Syria.

It is important to note that since the collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s regime and the rise of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham movement, the new government has made significant progress in a short time. This includes numerous foundational initiatives, such as efforts to rebuild political relations.
