The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum announced that 18,000 tons of crude oil, extracted from the Qashqari section of the Amu oilfield, have been sold to domestic investors through an open bidding process.
The ministry reported that the sale generated nearly $10.5 million.
According to the press release, Kamran Mashal Company secured the bidding, outperforming several competing firms.
