Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, announced that public order police have confiscated 1,200 unregistered vehicles throughout Kabul.

He noted that all seized vehicles have been moved to the police compound.

Mr. Qani added that security forces have set up special checkpoints at the city’s entrances and across key areas to stop unregistered vehicles from entering Kabul.

The Ministry of Interior has also enforced restrictions on illegal vehicles on major roads and within the city to curb traffic accidents and ease traffic jams.
