The Ministry of Information and Culture announced the discovery of 27 ancient sites in Logar province, including the provincial center of Pul-e Alam and the districts of Charkh, Barki-Bark, Kharwar, and Azra.

Officials from the Directorate of Archaeology confirmed that initial studies suggest these sites date back to the Greco-Bactrian and Islamic periods.
