The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the ceasefire agreement reached between the Islamic Movement of Hamas and the Zionist Israeli regime, thanking mediating countries in this regard.

On behalf of the people of Afghanistan, The Ministry congratulates the Palestinian people for this huge achievement.

The statement underscored that the ceasefire agreement was the “outcome of the Palestinian people’s resistance and the fifteen-month-long fight and sacrifices in Gaza.”

The Ministry also called on the international community to ensure that the Zionist regime fulfills all its commitments in the agreement and allows urgent aid to Gaza.

It is important to note that the ceasefire deal was signed on Tuesday night by Hamas and the Zionist Israeli regime after fifteen months of a bitter clash in Gaza.
