According to sources from the Hindukush Voice; it is scheduled that a conference under the name of National Dialogue will be held in Turkey on February 7th and 8th. This conference is being organized by a group led by Hamid Karzai. This is the second conference, the first of which was held in Istanbul a few months ago.
According to the information; in the previous conference, great efforts were made by the team of Hikmat Karzai to invite and have the leaders and officials of the National Resistance Council participate in this conference, but the council under the name of National Resistance did not participate on that conference for two reasons.
Since Hikmat Karzai had taken a lot of money through the British Foreign Office from that country’s intelligence for the mentioned project, some members of the Resistance Council, like Yunus Qanuni, Habib Rahman Sayaf, and others, demanded a 50% share and partnership. However, Hikmat Karzai offered a consultant position with a monthly salary of $3,000 to $5,000. To counter this, Qanuni held several meetings with Hikmat Karzai in London, but they eventually did not reach an agreement. Later, Qanuni incited other members of the Resistance Council against the project and conference, preventing their participation.
Recently, according to reliable sources from the Hindukush Voice, Hikmat Karzai and his associates have met in Turkey with Dr. Basir Anwar, Mohiqiq, Habib Rahman Sayaf, and Dostum, along with some other officials of the mentioned council.
In this regard, Hikmat Karzai convinced Dr. Basir Anwar to accept some privileges and try to reduce their sensitivity in the council, and to persuade the council officials to participate in the upcoming conference. However, despite Dr. Basir Anwar’s extensive efforts and even Hikmat Karzai’s invitation to the council, he was unsuccessful in alleviating the sensitivity or convincing anyone to participate in the conference due to the sensitivity and opposition from Yunus Qanuni, Ata Mohammad Noor, and some other former Jamiati members.
According to the source’s information; due to the decision of that circle in the Resistance Council, which has monopolized the power of decisions and resolutions through deceit and cunning, the National Resistance Council was once again not allowed to participate in Hamid Karzai’s conference. Hamid Karzai’s team and family were once again accused of espionage, treason, and, as they say, insulting and humiliating the leaders of the Resistance Council, claiming that they will never gather under their name and flag.
However, what will be the fate of Basir Anwar in the Council due to the attempt of a secret deal with Hamid Karzai? It is too early to say.
