Last week, in connection with the visit of a delegation from the Resistance Council to Iran led by Mohaqiq, the Voice of Hindukush has recently obtained information regarding the reaction of Ahmad Massoud’s only remaining loyal ally in the council, indicating a deep rift between the Resistance Front and the National Assembly – Resistance Council.
Voice of Hindukush has found that the Resistance Council has deliberately excluded and overlooked those close and loyal to Ahmad Massoud in the composition of this delegation. Additionally, some loyal members of the Resistance Front in Iran, such as Hazrat Ali and Ismail Khan, have also been kept away from this process, and no one from the Resistance Front has been invited to any meetings with Iranian officials.
Voice of Hindukush has received recent information from sources close to a member of the Resistance Front in Iran and the so-called Eastern Council member, Hazrat Ali, that he is very upset and angry about the recent trip led by Mohaqiq.
The source adds that Hazrat Ali has also privately expressed his objection to a member of the Resistance Council, Younus Qanooni, and questioned him about why, as a member of the Resistance Council, he did not have the right to be informed about this event or to be part of this delegation. He stated that the fact that he did not do so indicates that there is a problem and disagreement between them. Hazrat Ali complained that he has been ridiculed by his commanders because of this action and feels belittled.
According to the source, Hazrat Ali, in contact with Qanooni, has also said that he wants to reconsider his presence and membership in the mentioned council due to the negligence and isolating policy.
Hindukush Voice has found in the information obtained from the mentioned source that the companions of Hazrat Ali have become severely disillusioned with him due to this action, and rumors have emerged among the opponents regarding his declining position.
According to the information, the Resistance Council made this decision in response to Ahmad Massoud’s departure and separation from the National Assembly and deliberately does not want Ahmad Massoud and his close associates to be involved in their political processes and issues anymore.
It is worth mentioning that the differences between the two sides (the Council of Resistance and the Front of Resistance) have reached their peak, leading Ahmad Massoud to decide to continue his opposition to the caretaker government in Afghanistan alone, as he is distrustful of the previous politicians and considers them failed and incompetent figures based on their past. On the other hand, the opposing side calls Ahmad Massoud a younger, inexperienced, and arrogant person, stating that he cannot succeed in his struggle and opposition to the caretaker government in Afghanistan alone under any circumstances.
