Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official aircraft transited Afghan airspace on Monday while traveling to France, according to reports. The flight path also included Pakistani airspace before entering Afghanistan.

Despite passing over Pakistan, Modi did not issue any customary goodwill message to the Pakistani government or its people.

Reports indicate that the Indian Air Force’s specially designated Boeing 777 aircraft entered Afghan airspace near Parachinar. While Afghanistan’s airspace remains officially restricted, special clearance was granted for the flight’s passage.
