    Difficult Days for the Pakistani Military Continue: 18 Soldiers Killed in Waziristan

    The Pakistani Taliban have claimed responsibility for an attack in Waziristan, stating that their fighters killed 18 Pakistani soldiers and wounded dozens more during a clash with the military.
    According to the Pakistani Taliban, one of their fighters also lost his life in the clash.

    Meanwhile, Pakistan’s military public relations department confirmed casualties but reported a lower toll, stating that 10 soldiers were affected, with four killed and six wounded.
