    Nimroz Authorities Hold Meeting on Preventing Human Trafficking

    The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani, stated in a press release that authorities in Nimroz province held a meeting to discuss measures for preventing human trafficking.

    According to Qani, the meeting was attended by Nimroz Governor Sheikh Mohammad Qasim Khalid, Deputy Governor Mawlawi Torjan Ahmadi, Police Chief Haji Madasir, the commander of the frontier brigade, and other security officials. The discussions focused on strategies, preventive measures, and ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking.

    Governor Khalid praised the security forces for their efforts in addressing human trafficking and urged them to further strengthen their preventive measures.

    Qani added that at the conclusion of the meeting, it was decided that guesthouses along travel routes providing shelter to individuals attempting illegal migration would be shut down.
