The spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Akhundzada Abdul Salam, stated that in the first 11 months of the current year, Afghanistan exported approximately 1,100 tons of black pine nuts to foreign countries, generating over $14 million in revenue.
According to the ministry, pine nut exports have declined slightly compared to the same period last year.
China, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Jordan, Austria, Italy, the United Kingdom, and France have remained Afghanistan’s key buyers of pine nuts, the ministry reported.
