Former deputy ministers of mines from Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, Arzushkorov and Almasbek Tumanov, met with Afghanistan’s Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Mullah Hidayatullah Badri.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, representatives from both countries described investment opportunities in Afghanistan as favorable.

The statement added that the Azerbaijani and Kyrgyz representatives not only expressed interest in investing in Afghanistan’s mining sector, particularly in oil and gas, but also committed to establishing a standard laboratory to support mining operations.
