Pakistani Researchers and Journalists Secretly Visit Israel for Jewish History Studies

Al Jazeera has reported that a delegation of Pakistani researchers and journalists secretly traveled to Tel Aviv, Israel’s capital, last week to study Jewish history and attend various meetings and seminars.

The trip was organized by an Israeli organization dedicated to fostering relations between Israel and Asian countries, particularly those with Muslim-majority populations.

The ten-member delegation, which included two women, visited several historical sites, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque, under tight security imposed by Israeli forces and with the condition of maintaining discretion.

Qaiser Abbas, one of the journalists in the group, revealed his identity and confirmed the secret visit.

This covert trip for Jewish history courses comes at a time when Pakistan officially positions itself as a strong opponent of Israel, and Pakistani passports clearly state that holders are allowed to visit any country except Israel.

Earlier reports have also suggested indirect military cooperation between Pakistan and Israel.
