The spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, General Yahya Saree, has announced that an advanced U.S. MQ-9 drone was shot down in Ma’rib province.
According to Tasnim News Agency, Saree stated that this is the 16th drone downed by Yemen’s air defense system during the “Promised Victory and Sacred Jihad” battle, in support of Gaza and Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Defense has confirmed the incident.
