Sources from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa report to Voice of Hindukush that Fatah Bakakhel, a prominent militant commander from Bannu’s Bakkakhel district, has formally pledged allegiance to the leader of the Pakistani Taliban, Maulana Noor Wali Mehsud, along with all of his associates. They have vowed to abide by the Pakistani Taliban ’s policies and principles.
Recently, a significant number of fighters from various militant groups have joined the Pakistani Taliban, further bolstering the group’s strength and influence.
