The National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) has reported that a total of 34,411 foreign nationals traveled to and from Afghanistan over the past year through the country’s airports and land border crossings.
According to an official statement, records show that 18,846 foreign nationals, including 518 women, entered Afghanistan, while 15,565 others, including 382 women, departed the country during the same period.
Based on the recorded data, the highest number of foreign travelers were registered through the Nimroz border crossing, Herat airport and border points, as well as the Torkham and Hairatan crossings.
