The Media Office of Herat Province has announced that more than 201,000 electronic national identity cards were distributed in the province last year through three active centers.
According to the source, around 2,000 ID cards are currently being distributed daily in Herat.
It is worth noting that the distribution of electronic ID cards to citizens has significantly accelerated since the interim government returned to power.
