Kabul Municipality issued a statement confirming that its Programs and Projects Coordination Directorate has effectively resolved issues related to poor-quality work in the road construction and expansion project between Dahmazang and Kotay Sangi (Mirwais Maidan) in the city’s third district. The municipality also reported that sections of the road, which had developed cracks due to technical problems, have been cleared.

Engineer Mir Rahman Nasiri, head of Kabul Municipality’s Projects Coordination Directorate, explained that the issue was caused by a lack of proper precautions during the winter season. He reassured the public that the damaged sections would be completely reconstructed with a stronger foundation.

Nasiri further emphasized that road construction projects are strictly monitored to ensure quality assurance, and no one will be allowed to compromise standards in these projects.
