Local sources in Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, informed Voice of Hindukush that moments ago, Pakistani Taliban fighters targeted a military vehicle with a bomb in the Mamond area. The explosion resulted in both fatalities and injuries among the soldiers aboard.

While the exact number of casualties remains unclear, sources emphasized that the blast was particularly powerful.

Following the attack, the Pakistani military reportedly opened fire indiscriminately on civilians, injuring three children.
