The Ministry of Borders, Tribes, and Tribal Affairs has announced the resolution of two longstanding disputes in Balkh province. According to the ministry, with the mediation of officials from the Provincial Directorate of Borders, Tribes, and Tribal Affairs and local tribal elders, a five-year land dispute in Chahar Kint district and a three-year inheritance dispute in Dawlatabad district have been resolved.
The ministry stated that both conflicts had resulted in serious tensions and considerable losses for the parties involved.
Elders from the affected families expressed their appreciation to the interim government for addressing both major and minor issues within local communities. They pledged to avoid future disputes and to continue living in unity and kinship.
The ministry further noted that, since the establishment of the interim government, numerous long-standing hostilities across the country have turned into reconciliation, as part of broader efforts to promote social stability.
