International media report that the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) has approved the sale of 600 Stinger anti-aircraft missiles to Morocco in a deal valued at $825 million.

The Pentagon has confirmed the sale but has not disclosed any further details regarding the deal.

It is worth noting that the United States is among the world’s leading arms exporters. There is a widely held belief that the country deliberately prolongs conflicts between countries and proxy groups to support its military industry.
