Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, says the second round of negotiations between Iran and the United States is progressing smoothly.

In his latest remarks following the second round of talks, Araghchi stated that the negotiation process is moving forward in a positive direction. He also announced that a meeting between him and Steve Witkoff, U.S. President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy for the Middle East, is scheduled for next Saturday.

He added that expert-level technical discussions will begin on Wednesday in Oman.

These developments come as the second round of talks between Iran and the United States took place yesterday in Italy.
