Hakmal Saad, spokesperson for the Panjshir Police Command, announced that officers from the command’s Counter-Narcotics Department referred 22 drug addicts from across all districts of the province to a treatment facility during the month of Hamal (First of solar hijri year). In addition, one individual involved in drug trafficking was arrested.

According to the source, the addicts were transferred to Panjshir’s 30-bed rehabilitation hospital after completing legal procedures. Upon finishing their treatment, they are expected to reintegrate into society as healthy individuals and resume normal lives.
