    Delegation Led by Dr. Abdul Bari Omar Heads to Tajikistan for CASA-1000 Project Meeting

    The Afghanistan Electricity Company (Da Breshna Sherkat — DABS) announced in a statement that a delegation headed by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, departed for Tajikistan on Wednesday to participate in a meeting on the CASA-1000 energy project.

    According to the statement, representatives from the host country Tajikistan, along with delegates from Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Islamic Development Bank, are taking part in the meeting.

    The agenda includes discussions on the project’s current status, recent developments, solutions to existing challenges, and various other aspects and future plans.

    The statement further noted that DABS remains committed to completing the project with financial support from the World Bank.
