The Directorate of Petroleum Quality and Monitoring at the Ministry of Finance reported that during the second month of the 1404 solar hijri year, 184 tankers carrying substandard petroleum were rejected and returned from several customs points across the country.

According to the Ministry’s statement, of the rejected tankers, 8 were returned from Hairatan Customs, 119 from Nimroz Customs, 55 from Farah Customs, and 2 from Torghundi Customs, all sent back to their exporting countries.

Since the interim government resumed power, inspections of imported goods at major customs points have intensified. Additionally, efforts to combat substandard and expired products in major cities have significantly increased.
