Enemies of Iran Under the Guise of Resistance; Is it not Time for Tehran to Change its Policy!?

Who benefits from the opposing fronts under the name of resistance!? In recent years, Iran has tried to continue supporting groups under the banner of resistance according to its ideological perspective, but currently, these efforts not only do not yield benefits but have also become a significant source of loss for Iran. Some groups that consider themselves heirs of the resistance are actually working for the agendas of those intelligence networks whose goals are to weaken Iran, threaten internal security, and increase military and political pressures.

Ahmad Massoud has dubious connections with several foreign intelligence agencies; there are documented reports that Ahmad Massoud (who claims to be the leader of the Resistance Front) has not only distanced himself from Iran but has also openly sought assistance from Israel. This request has not remained merely verbal; according to intelligence sources, he still maintains close contacts with those factions that organize activities against the Iranian government and national security. Alongside Israel, France intelligence circles also collaborate with these groups, which pose a significant security threat to Iran.

In a recent development, Iranian intelligence agencies have confirmed that groups affiliated with Mossad have managed to create advanced drones for attacks within Iran and conduct highly precise targeted operations. The same network responsible for facilitating these operations is believed to be backed by the Resistance Front. The foreign funding sources, communications, and operations of this group are clearly against Iran’s security sovereignty.

The presence of the Resistance Front’s espionage offices and those former unreliable Afghan military personnel in Iran can challenge the country’s security from all sides. This front, through its sold-out members who have very free movements in Iran, can conduct espionage activities for anti-Iranian intelligence, countries, and groups within the country, as well as sabotage operations and work in favor of anti-Iranian factions. Therefore, the presence of this front in Iran can be detrimental to the country. Iran needs to reconsider its policy regarding this front and all other groups and prevent their activities to curb the hands of anti-Iranian factions.

Groups operating under the name of resistance are no longer worthy of cooperation; rather, they should be recognized as insurgents posing significant threats to Iran’s system, values, and national security. From Ahmad Massoud to those councils that call themselves under the banner of resistance and freedom, all should be reassessed from Iran’s regional perspective and dealt with accordingly instead of being treated as allies. The survival of these groups is neither in the interest of the Muslims of the region nor beneficial for Iran’s strategic goals.

Tehran must distance itself from those individuals who, under the guise of resistance, are agents of enemy intelligence. The demand of the time is to adopt a policy of adaptation to the new reality, rather than continuing with old strategies. If Iran wants to protect its security, political, and regional interests, it needs to withdraw support from these misguided fronts and seek alternative, genuine partners.
