    Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Nearly 250,000 Visas Issued to Foreign Nationals from 176 Countries Last Year

    Mohammad Shoaib Baryalai, Head of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced during a briefing on the ministry’s annual achievements that nearly 250,000 visas were issued last year to citizens of 176 countries.

    He noted that this figure reflects a 60 percent increase in visa issuance compared to previous years.

    Baryalai also stated that the Ministry will soon restart operations at its passport printing center in Bonn, Germany, following a four-year pause.
