The Ministry of Interior has reported that 216 individuals who completed rehabilitation for drug addiction at a 20-bed hospital in Nimroz province have been successfully discharged and reunited with their families.

The ministry stated that these individuals were initially detained by the Nimroz Counter-Narcotics Department. After receiving full treatment and medical clearance from the hospital’s doctors, they were formally handed over to their families.

Since the return of the interim government, tens of thousands of drug addicts across the country have received treatment, a process that remains ongoing.
