The Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs has announced that meetings on the implementation of Islamic Sharia and coordination with local communities were held in four districts across Badakhshan, Jawzjan, Khost and Ghor provinces.
The meetings were held in Yamgan district of Badakhshan, Qarqin district of Jawzjan, Tani district of Khost and Tulak district of Ghor. Local residents, religious scholars, tribal elders and community leaders attended the meetings. Participants were briefed on the implementation of Islamic Sharia and the leadership’s decrees and were urged to support the Islamic system, promote mutual acceptance and contribute to spreading Sharia rulings.
Religious scholars and tribal elders also expressed satisfaction with the security and public unity following the establishment of the Islamic system. They urged people to uphold Islamic Sharia and comply with its rulings.
