Speaking at the signing ceremony of a landmark agreement between the Ministry of Water and Energy and Azizi Energy Group to produce 10,000 megawatts of electricity, national investor Mirwais Azizi made it clear that he is not pursuing any political role. His focus, he said, is entirely on advancing economic and industrial development and improving the lives of Afghan citizens.

“Today is a historic day,” Azizi remarked. “Future generations will look back with pride, knowing that a major gateway to progress was opened in Afghanistan on this day.”

He further noted that the energy projects under this agreement are expected to create jobs for nearly 150,000 Afghans.
