A Hamas delegation, led by Khalil al-Hayya, has arrived in Cairo to evaluate the latest developments in Gaza and engage in ceasefire negotiations, according to Egypt’s Al-Akhbar news outlet.

Sources report that the delegation aims to draft a new proposal focused on establishing a ceasefire and facilitating a prisoner exchange between the two sides.

Discussions in Cairo are focused on securing a 60-day ceasefire agreement.

Concurrently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed a partial agreement with Hamas and stated that talks continue toward reaching a comprehensive agreement.

Egypt’s Foreign Minister told the French news agency that Egypt, Qatar, and the United States are jointly coordinating efforts to achieve the proposed ceasefire.

These diplomatic efforts are taking place amid escalated attacks by the Zionist regime, which have led to the daily martyrdom of numerous Palestinian civilians.
