Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that he will not accept any outcomes from the planned meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Zelensky emphasized that, although the meeting could be advantageous for both countries, discussions concerning Ukraine cannot take place without the participation of Ukrainian officials, and any negotiations taking place otherwise are unacceptable.

He further called the meeting on U.S. soil a personal triumph for Putin.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry has warned that Ukrainian officials are attempting to disrupt the upcoming Trump-Putin talks.
