The media office of the Uruzgan Provincial Police Headquarters stated that police from the Fifth Security District discovered a weapons and ammunition depot in the Talani area of Tarinkot city.
According to the source, the operation led to the seizure of 3 DShK heavy machine guns, 3 rocket launchers, 1 PK machine gun, 1 82mm mortar, 1 Kalashnikov rifle, and a large quantity of ammunition and explosives.
The statement added that no one has been arrested in connection with the discovered cache.
