According to Wall Street Journal, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is heading to Washington to meet U.S. President Donald Trump as the conflict with Russia intensifies.
European leaders are also expected to accompany Zelensky to the White House to discuss potential solutions for ending the war with Russia.
Reports suggest that Trump is scheduled to hold individual meetings with Zelensky and the European leaders.
The meeting takes place at a time when likelihood for a resolution to the Russia-Ukraine conflict appear stronger than ever before.
It’s worth noting that the previous meeting between Trump and Zelensky, about six months ago, ended in verbal clashes and created significant controversy.
