Mahdi al‑Mashat, head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, stated that Operation Al‑Aqsa Storm represented the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to respond to the abuses of the Zionist regime.

He added that the operation introduced a strategic shift in the Palestinian struggle, prevented plans to Judaize Jerusalem and to erase the Palestinian cause, and demonstrating to the world that the Palestinian issue will not perish.

Al‑Mashat said the October 7 uprising restored the Palestinians’ dignity and dashed the enemy’s hopes.

He praised the courage and patience of the Palestinian people and emphasized that Yemen’s position remains steadfast in support of Palestinian liberation.

He also accused the United States of being fully complicit in the crimes of the Zionist regime, and expressed appreciation for the support of Hezbollah, the Iraqi resistance, and Iran.
