The spokesperson for the Afghan government, Mawlawi Zabiullah Mujahid, stated that a high-level delegation led by the Afghan Minister of Defense, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, has departed for Doha today for negotiations with the Pakistani side.

In a press release, Mujahid condemned last night’s attack by the Pakistani military regime on Paktika and said that the Islamic Emirate considers such actions as attempts to prolong the war and provoke conflict.

He emphasized that although the Afghan government reserves the right to respond to the Pakistani military regime’s aggression and violation of Afghan airspace, Afghan forces should avoid any new movements in order to preserve the dignity of the negotiation team.

Mujahid reiterated that Afghanistan believes in peaceful resolution and regional stability, stating, “However, what is happening is entirely due to the aggressions of the Pakistani side.”
