Local sources told the Voice of Hindukush that a deadly attack targeted the guards of the Pakistani military regime’s gas company in Dera Ismail Khan.

According to the source, four soldiers of the Pakistani military regime, including one officer, were killed and eleven others were injured in the attack.

Meanwhile, Pakistani security officials have confirmed the casualties, adding that the injured soldiers have been transferred to the hospital.

They stated that operations have been launched against the armed attackers in the area; however, local sources report that Pakistani soldiers in Dera Ismail Khan are too fearful of the militants to leave their bases.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Pakistani regime’s gas company.
