The People of Pakistan Must Determine Their Own Destiny!

From the outset, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan repeatedly declares to the whole world: do not interfere in our internal affairs and we will not interfere in yours. We must maintain good relations and mutual respect, pursue shared interests, and be sources of benefit and goodwill for one another.

Unfortunately, some countries, instead of engaging constructively, choose confrontation: they interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs, spread deceitful, poisonous, and malicious propaganda against this country, and in practice shelter, support, and supply Afghanistan’s opponents on their soil. One of these Muslim neighbors is “Pakistan”. On the surface it claims to be founded on the concept of Islam, yet it has never fulfilled the rights of an Islamic neighbor toward Afghanistan nor built relations with Afghanistan on the basis of Islamic brotherhood.

Once, two decades ago, it declared support for the anti-Islamic-Emirate crusader coalition, made its territory and military bases available to the crusaders against Afghanistan, and helped topple the Islamic system. Now, after many sacrifices and losses, a new Afghan government has come to power and the country has regained its independence from the crusader occupation. That same Muslim neighbor is again supporting Daesh, rebellious groups, and other wicked forces against the Islamic government, granting these malicious groups overt centers within its controlled areas, training and using them against Afghanistan.

Of course, the blame for these vile acts does not lie with the pious people and the civilian government of Pakistan; rather, all of these evils are the work of a particular pro-foreign faction within Pakistan’s military that takes direct orders from enemies and does not allow relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan to be restored and conducted in the spirit of Islamic brotherhood and good neighbourliness. That faction is so powerful that it ignores the civilian government and the Pakistani people; it has seized control of everything and taken the nation hostage. Some time ago, when a Pakistani government delegation came to Kabul to restore relations, the military violated Afghan airspace and carried out attacks on Waziristani refugees; afterwards, without any clear reason, it closed the Torkham and Spin Boldak crossings. Its objective was to once again ruin and destroy relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

So long as Pakistan remains under the domination of this pro-foreign military faction, it will never be possible for Pakistan to engage in interaction guided by Islamic politics. Instead, Pakistan will always act at the behest of the West and America, and function as a hired militia executing their orders.

Therefore, it is necessary for Pakistan’s civilian government, scholars, elders, and all religious people to free themselves as soon as possible from the control of this pro-foreign faction and not allow a few pro-foreign generals to play with the fate of the entire nation, drag Pakistan into pointless wars at foreign command, and entangle Pakistan’s peace-loving people in enmity and hostility with the world. Independent peoples determine their own destiny and never accept servitude.

Once again we reiterate that Afghanistan’s new government seeks good relations with the whole world, harbors no enmity or ill will toward anyone, and Afghans are people of councils and dialogues on the international stage. But if anyone again violates this country’s airspace, territory, or rights, they should remember that Afghans have a long and proud history and great experience in repelling and expelling invaders!
