Violation of the Country’s Sovereignty; What were the Factors behind the Alliance of the Pakistani Regime and Afghan Opponents?

The close ties between the Afghan government’s opponents outside Afghanistan and Pakistani intelligence and the military have been discussed for a long time. Both sides have tried to either keep these ties secret in some way or, when they became public, to come up with some misleading justifications. However, recently, this matter has reached a point where it is no longer possible to hide it from the Afghan people or the rest of the world. Especially when the issue of the recent violation of Afghanistan’s airspace and sovereignty came to light.

Just days before the airspace violation, Pakistan hosted a meeting in Islamabad for some Western-based figures opposed to the current Afghan government, bringing together some repetitive and failed figures from Afghan politics. Although all the details of this meeting were not released, based on the nature of the gathering and the participants, all the issues raised were against the current order, security, and prosperity of Afghanistan. Interestingly, they named this meeting “Towards Unity and Trust.” Just days after this meeting, Pakistan violated Afghanistan’s sovereignty and airspace, leading to a strong and historic reaction from Afghanistan.

This harsh response exacerbated the crisis between the two countries and lasted for several days. During this period, everyone unanimously condemned Pakistan’s actions and stood firmly alongside the security forces. This unity became so prominent and strong that even some prominent figures from the fallen republic sided with Afghanistan and made harsh statements against Pakistan, emphasizing national unity and a unified response. Alongside this, a group of those corrupt individuals, the spys of foreign countries and embassies, and the proponents who always sought Afghanistan’s downfall, stood by Pakistan with great audacity and sought justifications for Pakistan’s invasion and attack.

These were the people who once accused the fighters of Afghanistan’s freedom and independence of being supported by Pakistan. However, with this despicable and slave-like stance, they exposed their past dark deeds, secret dealings, and connections, and openly took an anti-Afghanistan stance, insulted Afghanistan’s national sovereignty, disrespected the sacred will of the Afghan people for freedom and independence, committed national treason, and stood with the enemy in difficult times. Although they had already given their test to the people and Afghanistan, this time they did something rarely seen in the history of nations.

These are the same people who previously had secret and open ties with Pakistan and did not have good intentions toward Afghanistan. During the twenty-year occupation of Afghanistan, they stood against their country, land, people, and sacred values alongside the occupying forces, and now they have openly shown their loyalty to the Pakistani army. Now the question is, what do these opponents and the Pakistani army have in common? The Pakistani army wants Afghanistan to always be weak, without a central government, without the ability to defend itself, constantly interfering in its internal affairs, not making progress, lacking territorial integrity, remaining behind in competition, having its foreign policy defined by others, and overall, having no independence or freedom whatsoever, and always being mired in conflicts and misfortunes.

Just like Pakistan; these evil opponents of Afghanistan want exactly this. They never want a free and independent Afghanistan because their personal interests would not be protected then. They do not want a strong central system because they would not be able to wage proxy wars here. They want Afghanistan to be insecure, dependent on others, and always at war, and they want their palaces to be built and their tables filled with the blood of other people’s children. They give themselves grand and misleading false names to separate Afghanistan from that situation, murmur false slogans, sometimes calling themselves resistance fighters, sometimes bringing freedom to Afghanistan(!), sometimes ensuring human rights(!), sometimes doing this and sometimes that, but behind all these false promises and slogans lie stories and dreams of Afghanistan’s destruction and ruin.
