In a regular meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Economic Commission approved ten investment proposals worth 2.274 billion Afghanis after comprehensive evaluations.
According to the Deputy PM’s Economic Office, the approved projects include a two-story commercial market in Khwaja Ghar district of Takhar province, a five-story commercial market in Sheberghan city of Jawzjan province, a ten-story commercial market in Khost city, a five-story market in Mehtarlam city of Laghman province, an eight-story commercial market in the 11th district of Kabul city, and another eight-story commercial market in Kabul’s 1st district.
Additionally, the approved proposals include the construction of a 20-story commercial and residential building in the 10th district of Kabul, a ground-level commercial market in the Wuch Dand area of Jalalabad city, Nangarhar province, and a commercial complex with full facilities in the Islam Qala commercial port of Herat province.
It is noted that these decisions have been sent to the Afghan government leadership office for final approval.
