An armed attack in North Carolina has left two people dead and 13 others seriously wounded, international media reported.

According to the reports, the incident took place during a gathering in the city of Robeson.

U.S. officials have confirmed the attack but did not disclose the motive or the identity of the attacker.

This comes shortly after another armed attack in the state of Pennsylvania, where seven people were killed and injured.

Since the start of this year, the United States has seen an unprecedented rise in armed attacks, spreading fear across communities everywhere.
