The media office of Panjshir province reports that an Afghan investor named Haji Ghulam Farooq has relocated a car paint production factory from Iran to Afghanistan.

According to the source, all equipment of the factory has been transferred to the country, installation has been completed in the Shna Kali area of Deh Sabz district in Kabul, and production is set to begin soon.

The total cost of relocating and establishing the factory is estimated at around three million US dollars.

During a meeting with the governor of Panjshir, Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakeem, the investor stated that Afghan government agencies have cooperated well with him and that he intends to contribute to the country’s development with Islamic and national spirit.

He added that investment conditions in the country have improved and expressed hope that the factory will create significant employment opportunities for the people.

Meanwhile, the Panjshir governor assured his support for the investor, stating that encouraging investors is one of the Afghan government’s key priorities.

According to the governor, the country is moving toward progress, and investors should further contribute to economic stability.

Haji Ghulam Farooq mentioned that around 200 people were employed at his company in Iran, and he intends to employ even more people in Afghanistan.

He noted that he had previously tried to relocate the factory during past governments but was unsuccessful due to security issues.
