The media office of Balkh province reported that a new factory for the production of sacks and threads has been established and inaugurated in the province at a cost of $6 million.
The source added that the factory has a production capacity of up to 20 tons in 24 hours and has created job opportunities for 200 people.
Balkh Governor Mohammad Yousuf Wafa described strengthening of the production sector important for economic stability and stated that supporting this sector is among his top priorities.
