Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, head of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the past year marked an unprecedented period for Afghanistan, with significant progress in both security and economic development unmatched over the last five decades.

He added that the country achieved full security countrywide, effectively curbed administrative corruption, secured economic stability, and saw an increase in national revenues.

According to Mr. Takal, efforts to strengthen self-reliance intensified, the implementation of major infrastructure projects accelerated, and a favorable environment was created to expand regional and international economic ties.

Mr. Takal also noted that the Afghan government successfully strengthened diplomatic relations both regionally and globally, safeguarded the country’s sovereignty, protected national interests, ensured political stability, and guided Afghanistan toward positive transformation.
