The spokesperson for the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Samiullah Ibrahimi, stated that more than 82,000 work permits were issued across the country last year.

He added that out of this number, 6,000 work permits were granted to foreign nationals, while the remaining were issued to Afghan citizens.

He assured that the ministry has activated vocational and technical training centers throughout the country to create long-term employment opportunities and reduce the unemployment rate.
