Local sources, providing images from the scene to Voice of Hindukush, reported that police of the Pakistani regime killed six Baloch civilians in what they described as a staged encounter in the Barkan district of Balochistan.

According to the sources, after carrying out the killings, the police left the area and withdrew.

Additionally, reports suggest that, prior to this incident, Pakistani regime’s officers killed eight people in a similar encounter in Quetta and three others the day before in Karachi.

A few days earlier, a human rights monitoring group in Balochistan stated in its annual report that the Pakistani regime had killed 225 Baloch civilians without trial in 2025 and had forcibly disappeared 1,355 others during the year.
