The International Human Rights Foundation has strongly denounced the Pakistani military regime’s airstrikes on civilians in Nangarhar, stressing that the martyring of children in their sleep can never be justified under any circumstances.
The organization characterized the strike as a clear violation of international humanitarian law and urged the launch of an immediate, independent, and transparent international investigation into the incident.
The organization further stressed that those responsible for ordering the strike must be held fully accountable.
Late last night, the Pakistani military regime launched an airstrike on a civilian home in the Gardi Kass area of Behsud district, Nangarhar province, martyring nearly 20 members of a single family.
In response to the overnight airstrikes on Afghan territory, the Afghan government affirmed that the attack would be met with an appropriate response in due course.
