The Ministry of National Defense of Afghanistan, in reaction to last night’s bombing by the Pakistani regime on the homes of innocent civilians in Paktika and Nangarhar provinces, stated that the Pakistani regime will be held accountable at an appropriate time.

The Ministry described the attacks on civilian targets and religious centers as clear evidence of the Pakistani army’s intelligence and security failures, adding that such repeated acts of aggression will never conceal their internal shortcomings.

The Ministry of Defense also assured all citizens that it considers the protection of the country’s sovereignty and its people a religious and national responsibility, and it will not allow anyone to violate it.
